Presentation of the Canadian Arbitration Report 2023

The Report profiles commercial arbitration in Canada as seen through the practices of counsel, arbitrators, tribunal assistants and experts based in Canada. The Report derives from data submitted in the Canadian Arbitration Survey.

The Report covers the work of Canadian-based arbitration practitioners and experts irrespective of where the parties were located, the disputes arose, or the arbitrations were seated or venued. It documents the practice of all domestic and international commercial arbitration, including investor-state and sports arbitration and points the way forward for Canadians to build the practice of arbitration.

The Survey was conducted with the support of CanArbWeek and the assistance of FTI Consulting.
